The Voluntary Legal Services Program welcomes referrals of prospective
clients from the staff and volunteers of public and private agencies
and organizations in the Sacramento region. Please have your clients
call us at (916) 551-2102 and we will screen them on the telephone
for eligibility. If you feel that your client needs special attention,
or has unique circumstances that might require an explanation on
your part, please feel free to call us at the same number and leave
a message for VLSP’s Managing Attorney, and your call will
be returned.
In addition to referring eligible clients to volunteer attorneys
for direct representation, VLSP offers a number of free legal clinics
on subjects of interest to our low income clients. Please see the
section on services we provide for a
complete description of our services.
