Probate Law

The Voluntary Legal Services Program of Northern California provides services to clients who need help with resolving issues involving the estate of a deceased person. 

The estate may require an order of the Court to be distributed, or the estate may pass to the beneficiaries without court intervention through the use of a living trust or other methods.

The Probate Section Assistance Clinic that was operated by VLSP at the Sacramento Superior Court Family Relations Courthouse was closed on July 1, 2007.
