Description Instructor: Heather Tiffee, Assistant Program Manager for Client Services and Staff Attorney for VLSP's Debt Collection Defense and Bankruptcy Clinics. This class is designed to prepare attorneys to volunteer and advise clients at VLSP's Tuesday night Debt Collection Defense Clinic. The class will cover a variety of topics including credit report disputes, improper collection tactics, identity theft and negotiation strategies. 1.25 hours of general MCLE credit. Lunch will be provided. Enrollment fees: VLSP volunteers, $20; all others, $30.
