Government Benefits

The Voluntary Legal Services Program of Northern California currently does not provide services to clients who need help with maintenance of their public benefits such as Social Security, SSI and Food Stamps. Our parent organization, Legal Services of Northern California, does not help clients in initially obtaining benefits, but is able to provide assistance in a limited number of cases where benefits are terminated or reimbursement for alleged overpayment is sought from the person receiving public benefits.
